Who Should Watch

This webinar is a must-watch for executives, strategists, and leaders from asset-heavy industries and beyond who are looking to harness the potential of AI and real-time data to build a sustainable competitive advantage and drive the next wave of economic value.

Fusion Strategy highlights how real-time data and AI will fundamentally remake the strategies of asset-heavy industrial companies in sectors as diverse as manufacturing, mining, agriculture, transportation, logistics, and construction. These asset-heavy industrials account for $75 trillion of global GDP. They must integrate steel and silicon to create new economic value.

Fusion Strategy will help the industrials combine what they do best (create physical products) with what the digitals do best (use algorithms and AI to parse ginormous, interconnected datasets) to make strategic connections that would otherwise be impossible. The laws of competitive advantage are changing, rewarding those with the most robust real-time insights rather than the most valuable physical assets. That’s why $75 trillion, the addressable market for digitalizing the industrial world, matters. Companies that fail to recognize this will have to forego opportunities and face existential risks.

The core ideas of the book are illustrated with companies that make physical products, but we believe that the logic of Fusion Strategy with its underpinnings in real-time data and AI apply to a broader swatch of the economy—such as consumer products, healthcare, hospitality and entertainment--where physical and digital combine to deliver value. While the first wave of digital transformation was concentrated on information goods, the next wave will be physical and digital.

That’s the focus of Fusion Strategy. We want to have conversations with executives from a wide cross-section of companies for the webinar.
